National Network to End Domestic Violence NNEDV works to make domestic violence a national priority; change the way communities respond to domestic violence; and strengthen efforts against intimate partner violence at every level of government. 

The National Alliance to End Sexual Violence educates the policy community about federal laws, legislation and appropriations impacting the fight to end sexual violence. Its team of experts and advocates, donating time away from their state and local groups, publish written analysis, track legislation, provide media interviews, and advise members of Congress and the executive branch.

NO MORE is a new, overarching symbol, like the pink breast cancer ribbon and the yellow support our troops ribbon, that is bringing together all people, organizations and communities that support ending domestic violence and sexual assault in our society.

Stop it Now! works to mobilze adults, families, and communities to end child abuse.

The Women of Color Network (WOCN), a project of the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV) is a national grassroots initiative dedicated to building the capacity of women of color advocates and activists responding to violence against women in communities of color.

A Parents’ Guide to Facebook It’s designed to help you understand what Facebook is and how to use it safely. With it, you will be better informed and able to communicate with young Facebook users in your life. That’s important because 1) if something goes wrong, we want our children to come to us and 2) as the Internet becomes increasingly social and mobile, a parent’s guidance and support are ever more key to young people’s well-being in social media and technology.

 Amplify Your Voice: A national project for peer to peer education for teens about sexual health; features blogs, message boards and a rich online community, including special sections for GLBTG and young women of color.

 Advocates for Youth: Advocates for Youth champions efforts to help young people make informed and responsible decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. Advocates believes it can best serve the field by boldly advocating for a more positive and realistic approach to adolescent sexual health.

That’s Not Cool: Information for teens on textual harassment, how to communicate your boundaries and deal with pressure to send risky pictures or engage in other sexual activity.

 National Domestic Violence Hotline: Helping a Parent in an Abusive Relationship offers tips and tools for youth when there is family violence, from self-care to safety planning.

The link between violence against animals and violence against people is clear, and there are resources to help.

 Animal Legal Defense Fund: Animal Cruelty and Domestic Violence This resource provides up to date and state by state legal response to the link between domestic violence and aninmal advocacy, and includes important information about the importance of cross-reporting abuse and safety planning.  

Advocates for Human Rights – Stop Violence Against Women Project: Animal Abuse and Domestic Violence  Provides information on the relationship between animal and human abuse, as well as information and resources.

 ASPCA: Domestic Violence and Animal Cruelty This resource explores the link between domestic violence and animal cruelty, as well as providing resources for helping law enforcement and other partners respond.  

 National Link Coalition: National resource center on the Link between animal and human violence, offering extensive resources for individuals, organizations, and others, including sections on prevention, continuing education, the impact on children, and more.  

 Red Rover: Domestic Violence and Pets  National resource founded in 1987 to bring animals out of crisis and strengthen the bond between people and animals.

 Sheltering Animals and Families- Together (SAF-T) : Global initiative guiding domestic violence shelters on housing families with their animals.
